A doctor's appointment is not necessary to discuss your family planning requirements - We recommend booking in with one of our nurses.

Our nurses are able to see you for your family planning/contraception requirements, we recommend patients book an appointment a week in advance to there contraception medication running out. Also the implant can be discussed firstly with one of our nurses who can later make a minor surgery appointment with one of our GP's if necessary.

Please note that emergency contraception I.e 'Morning after pill' is a service provided by your local chemist free of charge.

If you are unable to attend surgery times for specific dates for whatever reason please be aware there is also a family planning clinic held at the Royal Alex Hospital in Rhyl, Please find all details to this service linked below.
