International travel

Welsh Government announced that international travel is open from Monday but are reminding people that it should be for essential reasons only.

People who’ve had two vaccines, and urgently need to travel to a country that accepts vaccination status on entry, can get a paper-based certificate from Monday 24 May.

Guidance has been published on the Governement website: Getting a vaccine certificate for international travel | GOV.WALES | Cael tystysgrif brechiad ar gyfer teithio rhyngwladol | LLYW.CYMRU

The number for the Wales helpline to request certificates to this web page will be added on 00.01 Monday 24th.

WG are nationally putting out proactive communications to tell people not to call their GP or vaccination centre as they won’t be able to issue the certificates.

Covid - 19 Testing

You can apply for a test if you have at least one of the following coronavirus symptoms: a new continuous cough, a fever, a loss of smell or taste.

Members of the public with symptoms can apply for a test online to receive a home testing kit (on NHS) and click on Wales

Alternatively, members of the public can apply for a home testing kit by phoning the free number 119.

Appointments

Until further notice we will be controlling access into the surgery to prevent the increase of the current suspected and confirmed Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) cases.

Access into the surgery will now be via appointment only and we urge patients to phone us on 01745 342225.

Our clinicians will be offering the best available patient care through our triage system, assessing the need for a face-to-face appointment or whether to prevent unnecessary risks where appropriate, your appointment may be through a telephone consultation.
