The EPP Cymru Office has been providing a lay led Long Covid Self-Management Programme since the start of Jan 2021.
Long Covid Self-Management Programme (LCSMP)
LCSMP is a course to help people who have had Coronavirus and are experiencing long Covid / post viral symptoms to maintain and improve their quality of life through self-management.
Subjects covered include: pain and fatigue management, improving sleep, dealing with low mood and difficult emotions, preventing falls, better breathing, medication usage, physical activity, healthy eating, action planning, problem solving and decision making.
Eligibility criteria: 18 years old and over, living with Post Covid Syndrome. This would mean living with ongoing symptoms 12 weeks or more after the Covid infection was present.

COVID VACCINATION BOOSTERS
The Practice has LIMITED APPOINTMENTS for the booster vaccine.
If you are invited to the Optic centre and are unable to attend please let us know and we can rearrange the appointment to Madryn House.

Thank you to everyone across North Wales who have already attended an appointment to have their COVID-19 vaccination.
A safe and effective vaccine will offer individual protection from COVID-19. It will also offer greater protection for our loved ones and communities.
Vaccinating the population with a safe and effective vaccine will:
- Protect people from COVID-19 and help prevent a third wave Lockdown.
- Help us all to return to a more normal life
- Allow people to access vaccination passports for travel
Covid - 19 Testing
You can apply for a test if you have at least one of the following coronavirus symptoms: a new continuous cough, a fever, a loss of smell or taste.
Members of the public with symptoms can apply for a test online to receive a home testing kit (on NHS) and click on Wales
Alternatively, members of the public can apply for a home testing kit by phoning the free number 119.
Until further notice we will be controlling access into the surgery to prevent the increase of the current suspected and confirmed Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) cases.
Access into the surgery will now be via appointment only and we urge patients to phone us on 01745 342225.
Our clinicians will be offering the best available patient care through our triage system, assessing the need for a face-to-face appointment or whether to prevent unnecessary risks where appropriate, your appointment may be through a telephone consultation.
